Several student-led projects have researched BYU devotionals and the barriers to attendance. BYU administration has had a goal to get more students to attend inside the Marriott Center. Students recognized this, and realized that there were many different factors contributing to low devotional attendance. One of the biggest areas found had to do with the accessibility of Marriott Center and its proximity to the rest of campus. This is a large issue for those with disabilities, as fatigue and safety concerns were prioritized over in-person devotional attendance.  The Marriott Center currently does not provide any ADA accessible routes to it except the path from Heritage Halls. For the large majority of students, this is entails going all the way across campus and back to get to the devotional. We are excited to see students continue to research and discuss options for equal access to the inspiration provided by BYU Devotionals and Forums.
